Beef with Spicy Cocoa Gravy

1 Tbl. unsweetened cocoa
1 Tbl. ground coriander
1-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
1-1/2 tsp. paprika
1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1-1/2 lbs. Nooherooka Natural stew beef
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 Tbl. olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Combine unsweetened cocoa & next 7 ingredients (through cinnamon) in a large bowl. Add beef, toss to coat. Add flour to beef mixture; toss to coat. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over med-high heat. Add beef mixture to pan, saute 5 min, turning to brown on all sides. Remove beef from pan. Add onion & green pepper to pan; saute 5 min or until tender. Add red wine & tomatoes; cook 3 min. Stir in beef broth, salt & black pepper, return meat to pan. Cover, reduce heat & simmer 1 hour or until beef is tender, stirring occasionally. Yield: 6 - 1 cup servings. Serve with egg noodles, rice or couscous.
